The Brazilian duo Glaucia Machado and Raquel Souza opened a store in Lisbon dedicated to the art of welcoming, bringing the tradition of sharing around the table to the Campo de Ourique neighborhood. The two partners combine ceramic production with the curation of products that value the act of receiving.
In addition to the store in Lisbon, the two artists maintain a studio at an old pottery in Caldas da Rainha, where they produce ceramic pieces. This connection to traditional Portuguese pottery reinforces the fusion between Brazilian and Portuguese culture in their work.
The store concept revolves around hospitality and sharing, reflecting the Brazilian ginga in the way of welcoming. The space was designed to offer products that invite people to gather around the table, celebrating fellowship and generosity.
