A solidarity trail for inclusion and autism awareness took place in Tomar, bringing together hundreds of participants in a demonstration of support for the cause. The event combined sport and awareness, promoting local community participation.
The program included three distinct routes: a 14-kilometre trail, a 10-kilometre walk and a children's sensory route. This diversity of options allowed the participation of people of different ages and abilities.
The event had around 900 participants, demonstrating the positive impact that initiatives like this have on the community. The activities for the youngest, especially the sensory route, aimed to promote understanding and empathy from an early age.
The organization managed to unite sport, awareness and inclusion in a single event, reinforcing the importance of creating spaces for socializing and understanding for people with autism spectrum disorders.
