The Caixa Econômica Federal application experienced instabilities on Friday afternoon. Users reported problems on social media, mainly complaining about difficulties with the application's functionality and login.
The Downdetector portal, which monitors complaints about service and application failures, detected 1,560 complaints at 4:16 PM about the bank's application. The platform concentrated reports mainly on functionality and access issues.
Caixa was contacted to comment on the situation, but did not immediately respond about a possible system failure. The bank did not confirm or explain the causes of the instabilities reported by users.
According to the Central Bank, Caixa is the bank with the highest number of accounts in the country, totaling 160.2 million clients between individuals and businesses.
