The 2026 Piauí State Women's Championship will have a record number of participating clubs. The competition is scheduled to start in October, marking the women's football season in the state of Piauí.

The state title will guarantee the champion the right to compete in the 2027 Women's Brazilian Cup. In addition, the winning team will also secure their spot in the Brazilian Women's Championship Serie A3.

The 2026 edition promises to be the biggest in the tournament's history, surpassing previous editions in the number of registered teams. Details about the format and confirmed teams will still be announced by the Piauí Football Federation.
