The regional secretary of the Economy, Rodrigues, will be present on Saturday at the Vila Palace, in Sintra, to attend the final that will decide the New 7 Wonders of Portugal. The presence of the official demonstrates the importance that the Autonomous Region of Madeira assigns to this event.
The Monte Palace Madeira Garden is the only representative of the Autonomous Region of Madeira competing in the grand final. This botanical garden, located on the island of Madeira, is one of the main tourist and cultural references of the region.
Saturday night marks the last opportunity to learn which seven wonders of the country will be chosen. The New 7 Wonders of Portugal contest has been reducing the list of candidates over the past weeks, culminating now in this final decision.
