This certification, valid between September 8, 2026 and September 8, 2027, recognizes compliance with good practices of accessibility and usability in digital public services.
In a social media post, the municipality stated that this distinction reaffirmed its commitment to a more inclusive, accessible local administration focused on citizens' needs. Digital accessibility is fundamental to bringing public services closer to citizens, allowing more people to access information and carry out procedures online independently.
For the Councilor for Administrative Modernization, Ana Cristina Martins, this recognition demonstrates that the investment in digital accessibility has a direct impact on the quality of services provided to the population.
