'I'm a very calm guy,' says defender Gabriel in first message to Vasco fans

Vasco announced last Thursday the agreement for the loan signing of defender Gabriel, who was at FC Copenhagen in Denmark. On Friday, the club released the player's first words after signing the contract, when he gave a message to the Cruz-Maltina fans.

Gabriel said he is "a very calm guy" who works hard, and revealed he will wear shirt number 55 at Vasco. The defender's loan runs until June 30, 2027, with a purchase option agreed until 2030.

The player thanked the fans for their support during the negotiation, which he said was difficult, but "thank God it worked out." He expressed happiness at arriving at Vasco da Gama and said he hopes to play great games and help the club win victories and titles.
