A faction of the Supreme Federal Court has begun criticizing Justice André Mendonça for the partial lifting of secrecy in the Master case investigations. The assessment of these justices is that he kept information about some authorities under seal, which caused an imbalance in the process.
These same justices demand that the judgment scheduled for next Tuesday not be limited to the suspicions involving the relationship between Justice Alexandre de Moraes and banker Daniel Vorcaro. They want the case to be handled more broadly.
As an example of what still remains under seal, these justices cite a report produced by the Federal Police with messages and details about Vorcaro's relationship with Justice Dias Toffoli. The information was revealed by Piauí magazine on Thursday.
The new revelations involving Toffoli have been cited behind the scenes as evidence of the existence of other fronts related to the Master case that have not yet reached the Plenary in the same way as Moraes's case. The discomfort increases the pressure on the format of the extraordinary session convened by the court's president, Luiz Fux.
