Unexpected turn in the purchase operation of Eldense. Pascual Pérez, former owner of the team, requested this Friday the precautionary seizure of all shares of the club. The legal action arises following the failure to repay a one million euro loan.
The loan was granted by Pérez in December 2025 to Carolina Holguín, current owner of Deportivo. The amount was not returned, which prompted the action by the former owner of Eldense to try to recover the money through the seizure of the club's shares.
The sale operation of Eldense, which would be associated with Messi's name according to the title, is thus at risk. The precautionary seizure requested temporarily prevents the transfer of shares until the loan issue is resolved judicially.
