Alentejo fisherman João Pechincha achieved 4th place at the 72nd World Nations Championship of Sport Fishing – Freshwater. The competition took place on September 5th and 6th, at the Sorraia river course in Coruche.
João Pechincha competed representing the Clube Eborense dos Amadores de Pesca Desportiva, thus managing to have a presence among the best athletes at the international level in this modality.
The championship brought together athletes from various countries, including some of the most recognized names in world sport fishing, at an event celebrating its 72nd edition.
With this result, the Clube Eborense dos Amadores de Pesca Desportiva consolidates its return to the international competitive scene of sport fishing.
