The Municipal Theater of Lousã presented the programming for the last quarter of the year, which includes proposals for music, dance, comedy, cinema, puppets and exhibitions, combining nationally renowned artists with local and regional creation. The mayor of Lousã, Victor Carvalho, stated that the programming was designed for different audiences and generations and aims to reinforce the theater's role as a space for participation, meeting and access to culture.
Among the program highlights are Cinceclube 47 on Wednesdays, the show "Deixem o Pimba em Paz" on October 4th for the TML's second anniversary, the Central Puppet Festival on October 17th and 24th, the Tribute to Marco Paulo on November 7th, the stand-up comedy show by Pedro Teixeira da Mota on November 27th, and "The Swan Lake" on December 26th. The program also includes the artistic residency "Não se vê. Não se guarda" by Thiago Granato, the show Paula Morelenbaum Bassarenova Trio – Levitar, and the ARCIL 50th anniversary gala.
Victor Carvalho highlighted the presence of projects connected to schools, families and inclusion, considering it important to bring young people closer to culture and contribute to audience development. The artistic director of TML, João Aidos, emphasized the involvement of cultural structures, artist creators, associations and schools in the programming, defending the importance of networking and partnerships.
Since opening in October 2024, the Municipal Theater of Lousã has received approximately 46,000 spectators. In 2025, it recorded 21,000 people, and by August of this year, it had already exceeded that number, according to data provided by the mayor.
