At least five people were injured during a Russian drone attack on a fuel station in Kiev, this Friday. The attack happened during the day, hitting the facility that also operates as a commercial area.
Russian forces were responsible for the attack, using drones in the bombardment of the fuel station located in the Ukrainian capital. This type of attack on energy infrastructure has become recurring in the conflict.
The number of attacks on fuel stations in urban areas has increased significantly. The escalation is especially notable near the front line in eastern and southern Ukraine, where the confrontations are more intense.
Ukrainian authorities have not yet released more details about the rescue operation or about possible material damage caused by the attack on the facility.
