Six Portuguese cyclists are cycling in the Pyrenees to raise funds for people with cancer

Six amateur cyclists from Portalegre are riding through the Pyrenees in a fundraising initiative for people with cancer. The cyclists, united by the desire "to make a difference," have been developing over the years a taste for long distances.

The desire to help others was the basis for the partnership established with the Portuguese League Against Cancer. One of the group members spoke to Euronews about this solidarity initiative.

The Pyrenees challenge represents another step in this journey of awareness and support for the oncology cause, demonstrating the cyclists' commitment to contributing to those facing the disease.

Brussels approves another 6.1 billion euros for Ukraine's air and missile defense
