Portugal's Ministry of Foreign Affairs marked today the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks in the United States. The date commemorated a quarter of a century since the terrorist attacks that shook the world.
In a statement, the Portuguese government stated that the tragedy continues to be "a wound in the memory of the world". This was the way chosen by the Portuguese executive to acknowledge the lasting impact of the attacks that occurred 25 years ago.
