Madeira hosts, on October 15th, an edition of the EEA Grants Roadshow 2026, an itinerant initiative that travels through six regions of the country to present the funding opportunities available through the EEA Grants. The event aims to bring these funding programmes closer to local entities that are interested.
The new funding cycle of the EEA Grants provides a total allocation of 126.3 million euros for Portugal, corresponding to the period between 2021 and 2028. This amount represents the funds available to support projects in various thematic areas covered by the programmes.
The roadshow's stop in the Autonomous Region of Madeira aims to allow Madeiran entities to learn in detail about the access conditions and priority investment areas of the EEA Grants. The objective is to encourage the submission of applications for projects that align with the programmes' objectives.
Currently, four programmes are defined within this funding cycle, covering different thematic areas. The initiative in Madeira is part of a national dissemination effort to maximise the participation of entities from all regions in the use of these European funds.
