Doar Fashion celebrates 15 years with a special edition this Saturday (12) and Sunday (13), from 9am to 7pm, at EXC at Jockey Club. The circular fashion event will have 35 thousand pieces for sale in a 900 square meter space and expects to receive about five thousand people over the weekend. This year's goal is to raise R$ 2 million for third sector institutions.
Created by stylist Daniella Martins in 2011, the project started with donations from a small group of friends and, in the first edition, managed to raise R$ 63 thousand. In 2024, the initiative exceeded R$ 1 million and, last year, reached more than R$ 1.6 million, destined for actions in education, health, and social inclusion.
More than 300 women participate voluntarily in the preparation of the event throughout the year, in various stages ranging from fundraising to organizing the pieces. The event is a reference in circular fashion in the city, promoting both sustainable consumption and support for social causes.
