The Liberal Initiative (IL) considered it "unacceptable" that, about a year after the electoral promises that pointed to the completion and approval of the Municipal Director Plan (PDM) of Machico as a priority, the document remains unapproved and the process has not yet reached the public discussion phase.
In a statement, the party criticized the municipal executive for the delay in completing the PDM, considering that the process demonstrates the distance between electoral promises and their realization.
The IL also warned that the absence of an approved PDM may have negative consequences for the municipality, although the text of the article is incomplete at this point.
The party thus once again pressured the authorities of Machico so that the process advances and the Municipal Director Plan is finally completed and submitted to public discussion.
