Rybakina overcame Gauff with scores of 3-6, 6-4, and 6-4, reversing an unfavorable situation after losing the first set. The victory was achieved consistently, with the Kazakh demonstrating strength in the decisive moments of the match.
In the final, Rybakina will face Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, who is also seeking the title at the North American Grand Slam. The showdown is scheduled to take place on Saturday, pitting two of the main players on the current women's tour against each other.
