The Federal Police launched an operation regarding the use of parliamentary amendments by companies linked to federal deputy Mário Frias (PL-SP) and Karina da Gama, owner of production company GO UP Entertainment — responsible for the film Dark Horse about the life of Jair Bolsonaro. The operation was authorized by Minister André Luiz de Almeida Felicissimo.
The main target of the operation is businessman Alex Leandro Bispo dos Santos, 40 years old, who calls himself "PCC Scorpion". He is accused of being part of the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) and faces a trial for femicide.
Santos has convictions for aggravated robbery — with use of a weapon and restriction of the victim's liberty — fraud, receiving stolen goods, and false identity. The various sentences add up to 34 years in prison, of which he served 13 years in closed regime.
He was imprisoned including at Penitentiary II in Presidente Venceslau, a facility that housed the PCC leadership. According to the Public Ministry, he has direct ties to the criminal organization.
