The Spanish Government is finalizing the creation of the strategic investments committee, a body that aims to accelerate major industrial investments in the country. The information was advanced by Fernando Villamón, head of the strategic projects unit of the Moncloa Economic Office.
The presentation took place before about thirty investors in the so-called "clean industry" sector, gathered on Thursday at the Palace Hotel in Madrid. The event was organized by the Mission Possible Partnership and the Industrial Transition Accelerator, in collaboration with Cleantech for Iberia.
Cleantech for Iberia is an investor coalition promoted by Bill Gates, who participated in this event in the context of sustainable industrial transition. The strategic investments committee will function as a mechanism to simplify bureaucratic processes and facilitate the arrival of foreign capital to the Spanish industrial sector.
