Betxí began today its Cultural and Sports Week, which will serve as a preparatory event for the larger festivities in honor of the Santíssimo Crist de la Pietat. These festivities are scheduled to take place between September 18 and 27.
This year's program brings together proposals for seven days of celebration, including the show by Eugeni Alemany. The event also features concerts by the Musical Union of Betxí and the traditional serenades of the Rondalla.
The Cultural and Sports Week thus represents the official opening of the local festivities, bringing to the population of Betxí various cultural and sports activities before the main religious celebrations of the municipality.
