The investigations by the Central Department of Investigation and Criminal Action (DCIAP) resulted in 2025 in the seizure of assets valued at over 573 million euros, according to data from an official report. This value represents a significant increase of 261.87% compared to the previous year, when assets worth significantly less were seized.
The Public Ministry's (MP) Summary Report for 2025 indicates that DCIAP requested the intervention of the Asset Recovery Office (GRA) in 15 investigations. These investigations concern various types of crimes, including corruption, subsidy fraud, drug trafficking and human trafficking.
