Lula says Fachin acted correctly, but still needs to take measures at the STF

President Lula stated in an interview with SBT that the president of the Supreme Federal Court, Edson Fachin, made the correct decisions to try to stop the crisis that hit the Court. According to Lula, Fachin brought order to the house.

However, Lula declared that Fachin has not finished taking all the necessary measures. The president defended that the president of the STF do more, including removing secrecy, to restore the credibility of the Supreme Court.

Lula also stated that there is still a need to investigate who is truly guilty. The president mentioned ministers Alexandre de Moraes and André Mendonça, saying that if they are guilty, they must pay for the irregularities.

The president reinforced that everyone must be at the service of complying with the Constitution and that the law is above everything, with truth being sovereign.
