The Regional Federal Court of the 2nd Region (TRF2) received on Thursday, unanimously by its six judges of the 1st Section, the complaint from the Federal Public Ministry against five people accused of belonging to a criminal organization linked to the Red Command. Among the defendants is former state deputy Thiego Raimundo de Oliveira Santos, known as TH Joias.
In addition to TH Joias, Gabriel Dias de Oliveira (known as Índio), Luiz Eduardo Cunha Gonçalves (Dudu), former state secretary Alessandro Pitombeira Carracena, and Federal Police delegate Gustavo Stteel were also made defendants. The five were charged with crimes of corruption, drug trafficking, arms trafficking, and smuggling.
The group is the target of Operation Zargun, which investigated a scheme of corruption and illegal trade of arms and drugs. The MPF complaint was fully accepted by the court, making the five accused defendants in the case.
