The Municipal Secretariat for Youth (JUVRio) has opened registration for 370 spots in free professional courses at Casa da Juventude Centro, located in Gamboa. The training is aimed at young people who want to gain professional qualifications, develop new skills, or start their own businesses. Interested applicants can register until October 1st through the Oportunidades Cariocas portal, from the Rio de Janeiro City Hall.
The available spots are for the courses of Barber, Hair Removal, Eyebrow Designer, Braider, Music Production, Makeup, Nail Designer, and LIBRAS. Each course offers 50 spots, with the exception of Music Production, which offers 20 spots. Most courses are completed in just one month.
With the exception of LIBRAS, all courses have a duration of one month, with theoretical and practical classes held twice a week. The courses in Barber, Hair Removal, Eyebrow Designer, and Braider will have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 2 PM to 6 PM. The Music Production course will be offered from 6 PM to 8 PM.
