Ronaldo Caiado's campaign for President of Brazil declared having received R$6.63 million in resources so far. Of this total, R$4.11 million came from the party's national leadership, which is led by Gilberto Kassab, the vice-presidential candidate on Caiado's ticket. The amount declared in expenses, however, is already triple the amount received.
In voting intention polls, Caiado appears with only 3% of voters' preferences, according to the latest Quaest poll, released on Monday. The modest performance contrasts with the volume of resources declared by the campaign.
