This is the first foldable iPhone and hits stores in October

Apple revealed on Wednesday the iPhone Duo, the brand's first foldable smartphone. The new device represents Apple's entry into the foldable phone market, competing with other manufacturers that already offer this type of technology.

The iPhone Duo allows running two apps simultaneously, a feature that takes advantage of the device's foldable screen. This multitasking capability distinguishes the new model from the brand's traditional smartphones.

The device will be available for pre-order starting October 16, with arrival in stores in Portugal scheduled for October 23 of the same month. iPhone Duo prices start at €2,399.
