Canada announced a 254 million dollar package for air defense for Ukraine. The measure is part of Ottawa's ongoing support for Kiev in the context of the ongoing conflict.
Ottawa committed to increasing its drone manufacturing capacity within two years. One third of all drone production will be specifically destined for Ukraine, thus reinforcing the European country's defense arsenal.
The Canadian Prime Minister, Mark Carney, and the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a 100-year strategic partnership between the two countries. This long-term agreement aims to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in various areas.
