Drunk passenger bites flight attendant after being denied alcohol on board and tries to open airplane door

A drunk Russian passenger traveling to New York on a United Airlines flight bit and kicked a flight attendant who refused to serve her more alcoholic drinks. During the flight, she needed to be restrained by five people to prevent her from opening the aircraft door. The flight, which was coming from Italy, was diverted to Maine on Tuesday (8/9). This incident occurs a few days after another flight heading to Newark (New Jersey, USA) was diverted due to an out-of-control passenger. In that case, Arthur Lundeen, 67 years old, was immobilized in his seat with tape and plastic zip ties by Richard O'Lenick and other passengers after assaults and racist and homophobic insults on board an American Airlines plane. Lundeen was charged with assault and disorderly conduct and lost his job at a real estate company.
