Bruno Faria, centre-back for Lusitânia de Lourosa, was distinguished as the best young player of the 2nd League in August by the Players' Union. This recognition acknowledges the player's outstanding performance throughout the first month of the sporting season.

The young defender overcame the competition of two other players who were also nominated for the award. Rodrigo Dias and Rafael Nel, both representing Sporting B, finished in second and third place, respectively, in the vote held by the union.

The Players' Union is the entity responsible for awarding this type of recognition to players who stand out throughout the season. Bruno Faria's distinction comes as a result of a remarkable performance during the matches played in August by Lusitânia de Lourosa.

This achievement represents an important recognition for the 21-year-old player, who plays in the Portuguese second division, and also for the Minho club, which thus sees one of its young talents individually recognised at national level by the main representative body of professional footballers in Portugal.
