The Half Marathon National Road 16, which was scheduled for September 27, 2026, has been postponed to 2027. The decision to reschedule the event was made by Beiras Marca – Association for Development and Events, together with Mais Beiras Informação, which acts as the communication partner for the initiative.
The postponement is due to the improvement works currently underway on National Road 16. The road works will impact the conditions for holding the race, making it unfeasible to hold it on the initially planned date.
The organization states that it is a challenge worth waiting for, conveying the idea that the postponement represents an opportunity for an even better edition of the event, once the road conditions are properly ensured.
