The Ministry of Consumption, Social Rights and Agenda 2030 presented on Thursday in León the new Imserso travel season for the 2026-2027 period. This Social Tourism initiative is primarily aimed at elderly people and people with disabilities, offering trips at reduced prices.
879,213 places were allocated for this season, while 4,602,255 people are accredited to participate in the program. The trips will begin to be marketed from September 14, allowing beneficiaries to book their holidays in advance.
The first trip of the season starts on October 1, with destination Oropesa. This Imserso program is one of the main social policy tools of the Spanish government to promote the well-being and social inclusion of the most vulnerable citizens.
