At least five dead and more than 80 missing during ferry fire in the Philippines

At least five people died and more than 80 are missing after a fire on a passenger ferry off Coron, in the Philippines. The accident occurred this Wednesday, when the vessel was traveling from Manila.

Local authorities managed to rescue 42 people alive. However, 87 passengers and crew members remain missing.

Rescue operations are underway to find the survivors. The causes of the fire have not yet been released.
