The PISA 2025 report, published on Tuesday by the OECD, warned of a widespread increase in students' lack of interest in acquiring new knowledge. Only about 57% of the students assessed by PISA, who are 15 years old and mostly attend 4th year of secondary school, stated that learning new things does not seem boring to them. Between 2022 and 2025, this percentage fell in 60 countries, including Spain, and the decline exceeded ten percentage points in half of those territories. However, Spain was not among the territories with a decline of more than ten percentage points.
