The Venezuelan Union of Resistance in Exile (Urvex) initiated a campaign called "One euro against impunity. Plus Ultra Case," with the aim of raising five thousand euros to appear as a popular accusation against former Spanish Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero in the legal proceedings known as the Plus Ultra Case.

The campaign is led by Luis Ernesto Ortiz, president of Urvex, who is seeking the necessary funds to deposit at the Spanish National Court after Judge José Luis Calama accepted the association's standing as a popular accusation in the proceedings against the former Spanish head of government.

Judge Calama is responsible for investigating the Plus Ultra Case, which involves the former prime minister. By accepting Urvex's participation as a popular accusation, this Venezuelan organization is allowed to have a voice in the legal proceedings against Zapatero before the National Court.

The campaign asks for contributions of one euro from citizens to reach the necessary amount, arguing that Zapatero is "directly responsible" for the situation that prompted the investigation. Urvex, based in Venezuela, operates from exile and seeks through this initiative to actively participate in the legal proceedings against the former Spanish prime minister.
