Cristiano Ronaldo scored today on Al Nassr's return to winning ways in the Saudi football league, in the home match against Abha, the last-placed team, in the sixth round of the competition. In Riyadh, Ronaldo opened the scoring at 22 minutes, and Abdullah Al Hamdan, at 58 minutes, scored the second goal for the home team.
Al Nassr had Samuel Costa in the starting eleven, while João Félix was absent due to suspension. For Abha, Frenchman Nabil Fekir reduced the deficit to 2-1 at 75 minutes.
With this victory, Al Nassr, which had been on a run of negative results, returned to winning ways in the Saudi league, adding three important points to their tally.
