The Auditorium of the Centro Cultural de Chaves hosted the conference "Inclusion and Diversity – Paths to Quality of Life and Well-Being", organized by the Cooperative for Education, Rehabilitation, Training and Inclusion (CERCI) Chaves. The initiative returned with the goal of promoting reflection on disability, inclusion, and the different responses needed for people with specific needs.
The president of CERCI Chaves, Adalgisa Portugal, explained that the organization seeks to prevent the conference from becoming repetitive, committed to a multidisciplinary perspective. According to the responsible party, people from various fields are invited to provide answers in different areas.
Adalgisa Portugal warned that, although the word inclusion is increasingly present in public discourse, reality does not necessarily keep pace with this evolution. The president of CERCI Chaves even stated that "at this moment, inclusion is experiencing a setback."
