The Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech arrived in Brazil to reinforce Botafogo. The 31-year-old player will sign a contract with the Brazilian club until 2028. Ziyech expressed his enthusiasm for the transfer, considering Brazil as the number one country in football. The player arrives at Botafogo from Galatasaray, a Turkish club for which he was loaned to Fenerbahçe, a direct rival. This season, Ziyech scored three goals in 23 matches for both Turkish clubs. The Moroccan international winger, with 73 caps and 19 goals scored for the national team, will now wear Botafogo's jersey, a club that competes in the Brazilian Championship and the Copa Libertadores. This transfer represents another big name from European football reinforcing Brazilian football, joining other foreign players who have signed for Brazilian clubs recently.
