An attack on the eve of the marriage between a Russian woman and a Ukrainian soldier did not stop the couple from saying "yes". The wedding took place despite the difficulties imposed by the war.
For six consecutive days, the couple tried to go to the registry office to submit the necessary documents for the marriage, but they could not due to the constant air raid sirens that forced the population to take shelter.
The ceremony was held anyway, demonstrating the couple's determination to formalize their union despite the armed conflict affecting the region.
