The Government announced that sixteen roads remain closed after the bad weather that affected the country in January and February, and the reason for these closures is that they involve complex works. Minister Miguel Pinto Luz was the one who provided this information.

Following the storms, 3,444 incidents were recorded on the national road network. Of these incidents, 336 corresponded to total road closures, which demonstrates the extent of the damage caused by the bad weather to the country's road infrastructure.
