Miguel Albuquerque, president of the Regional Government of Madeira, announced today that the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RAM) will follow the IRS tax relief for November, as announced by Prime Minister Luís Montenegro.
The comment was made during a visit to the works carried out at Dr. Ângelo Augusto da Silva School, where Albuquerque took the opportunity to address the fiscal issue.
The Madeiran president considered that when taxes decrease, people have more possibilities to meet their financial commitments.
Miguel Albuquerque's position comes following the fiscal policy measures announced by the central government for the month of November.
