The Federal Highway Police (PRF) issued a warning about slow traffic on BR-343 in Teresina, in Piauí, due to President Lula's visit to the state. Vehicle traffic is expected to increase mainly between 4pm and 10pm.
The warning highlights that the traffic increase will be mainly composed of buses. The PRF recommends that drivers plan their trips in advance to avoid inconvenience.
According to PRF, there will be no closure or road blockage during the event. The lanes will remain open to vehicle traffic, although slowdowns are expected on certain stretches.
The monitoring operation aims to ensure safety and traffic flow in the region during President Lula's passage through Piauí.
