The minister responsible for Education announced that a new teacher placement competition will "drastically reduce the time students are without classes." This statement comes following the approval of this new competition in Council of Ministers.
The new system will allow for greater speed in teacher placements in schools, responding to one of the main criticisms of the previous educational system, which was the excessive time students remained without an assigned teacher.
In addition to the new competition, the ministry will implement daily recruitment reserves, ensuring that teachers are placed in schools every day. This measure will come into effect starting from the 18th of the current month.
The objective of these changes is to ensure greater continuity in the teaching-learning process, minimizing the interruptions that traditionally occurred during transition periods between teachers in schools.
