TVDE drivers are organizing a slow march in Funchal next Saturday at 5:00 PM, a "peaceful car ride through the streets of the city" to mark one year of "administrative blockage" on the issuance of new TVDE licenses in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The initiative is promoted by a self-called "civic movement of candidates and TVDE drivers from Madeira," which used a press release to publicize the demonstration.
The organizers intend to draw attention to what they consider to be a blockage by the regional authorities on the granting of new transport licenses for uncharacterized vehicles, a situation that has been ongoing for a year.
The slow march aims to raise awareness about the consequences of this situation for sector professionals who are waiting for authorization to carry out the activity in the region.
