The Minister of Justice announced that the diploma amending the Educational Guardianship Law is completed. This law applies to young people between the ages of 12 and 16.
The revision of the Educational Guardianship Law was developed jointly with the Social Security sector, in an interministerial collaboration effort to update the legal framework applicable to young people.
The diploma represents an update to the legal regime that protects the rights and State intervention in situations involving minors in that age group, seeking to adapt the legal framework to current needs.
With the conclusion of this legislative work, the executive moves to the next phase of the process, which may include the formal presentation of the diploma for parliamentary approval.
