The coordinator of Left Bloc, José Manuel Pureza, said today that the motion of censure presented by André Ventura works as a "freight" that allows the Government not to talk about the cost of living. The statement was made in Coimbra.
Pureza considered that the prime minister is grateful to André Ventura for this "freight," meaning for creating a distraction that takes attention away from the economic issues affecting citizens.
The BE coordinator defended that the executive should be confronted with its responsibilities regarding the increase in the cost of living in Portugal, instead of being involved in a debate about a motion of censure.
