FADU proposes 50 euro fund per student to finance university sports

The Academic Federation of University Sports (FADU) proposed this Wednesday the creation of a 50 euro fund per student to finance university sports. The proposal was presented to the Government and universities during a meeting held on the same day. The objective of this measure would be to guarantee more consistent financial resources for the development of sporting activity in higher education institutions. This initiative comes in the context of debates about the financing and valorization of university sports in Portugal.
