La Vall d'Uixó started today the 2026-2027 school year with approximately 5,300 students in Infant Education, Primary, ESO, Secondary and Vocational Training. The start of classes went smoothly, according to the council.
The mayor, Tania Baños, highlighted that this school year marks a historic milestone: the opening of the new CEIP Rosario Pérez, an infrastructure demanded for years and which represented an investment of approximately 6 million euros through the Edificant Plan.
Tania Baños stated that the council has demonstrated the capacity to carry out works of this magnitude, but reminded that there are still many pending tasks. The mayor called on the Generalitat to accelerate the necessary interventions at the schools l'Assumpció, Lleonard Mingarro and Blasco Ibáñez.
