Brazil will have 13 candidates in the race for President of the Republic in the 2026 elections, with the first round scheduled for October 4 and, if necessary, a second round on October 25.

Among the candidates are President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), who is seeking re-election, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), activist Renan Santos (Missão), former governors Ronaldo Caiado (PSD) and Romeu Zema (Novo), writer Augusto Cury (Avante), professor Edmilson Dias (PCB), professor Hertz Dias (PSTU), dentist Samara Martins (UP), veterinarian Wilson Grassi (Democrat), lawyer Clariana Barão (DC), journalist Rui Costa Pimenta (PCO), and businessman Pablo Marçal (PRTB).
