The Operational Central Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard points to the PSOE manager, Ana María Fuentes, as responsible for executing the alleged plan orchestrated by Cerdán to put the party "at the disposal" of a network led by former socialist member Leire Díez.
Judge Santiago Pedraz of the National Audience reactivated this Wednesday the case about the alleged network, hearing Fuentes as a suspect. This judicial procedure comes in a process that investigates an alleged scheme aimed at sabotaging judicial processes in which the entorno of the Government president, Pedro Sánchez, or the PSOE itself are involved.
Leire Díez, former socialist member, appears as the central figure of the investigated network. The popular accusations consider Fuentes' statement as a preliminary step to a possible formal imputation of the Socialist Party as such.
